[Announcement] Time to organize this place

13 posts in this topic

To those whom it may concern,

We have begun putting some work into organizing the forum aswell as making it more appealing and userfriendly for mods/staff and users alike.

You may have noticed that the old Help and Support forum is gone, and has been replaced by a complete help and support section that serves subsections for each bot, auth page and cdpatcher. Each sub section contains a subforum labeled "Resolved issues", this forum you cannot post in, all resolved threads gets moved to this section so users can easily read through it looking for solutions.

More changes will come over the next few weeks, and we hope that we can clean the forum up abit and make it easier to find relevant information.

well, knowing IPB AP/MP a bit, jep, your screwed :D

As much as i like the idea of a "sorted" board, too many sub-forum make it even worse to administrate. And complicated for normal user to navigate and find out, where the hell they should post.

If a problem has been solved should we report the thread so that you can move it to "resolved"? Or whats the plan here? :P

You could report it ye, but generally its a mod that ends up solving an issue, and they would just move it themselves then.

Has nothing to do with Sorting.

But in IE you are not able to copy past into the 'Reply Box'

And quoting rarely works.

Kind Regards

Issues like these are out of our hand. It's something related to the theme and / or the browser.

Beautiful.
It's great to see this part expand/evolve, as I imagine many hours goes to unofficial or small solutions to a problem.
Which u then have to repeat over and over. -This way people only have to look in Resolved issues.
Make sure that you "pin" more Common solutions within each board, HB, DB, EB etc. Like you did with the "Shoutbox and Forum rules" :P

I am cry, it's so much work.

More work?
-work work.

I hope people will read a bit, that could save you loads of time, like @Priest said.
