In this post you will find the required information in order to run HB on your system. Before going on how to download and run HB I ask you nicely to go and read our forum rules so no misunderstandings will occur later on when you're using the forum. http://codedeception...les/#entry17263 There will be a few requirements on your end in order to get it all working. In order to connect to our servers you firstly need to download the application called CDPatcher, you can find the download link on the auth page, and then simply clicking on the Download button. If the page loads and looks like strange numbers and characters please right click and press "Save Page As". If the file you downloaded ends with .Man just rename it to .rar and you can open it. The CDpatcher does NOT work on Windows XP, so you need a system with Windows Vista or higher. Once you've downloaded the CD patcher you can now get the latest version of HB from Here download the ZIP, NOT the installer. If you are from Germany or China you have to use http://hidemyass.com and select Web Proxy and then enter updates.buddyauth.com alternative use this link! Now you can go and grab your personal authentication key from the auth page http://codedeception...ex.php/main/key You simply hover the input box and your key will appear, now copy this key. Note that this key will always work and if it does not work for you it's something on your end causing it to not work. Now that you have the CD patcher and HonorBuddy downloaded you can now go a head and start the CD patcher first and select a server. If you're a VIP user you can select the Use VIP Auth or if you're a normal member you can select the Use Public Auth. Now you can go a head and start HB, if your HB does not start or crashes it might be due to your computer missing some important applications that HB needs to run, you can download the installer for these programs Here. Now you simply enter the key that you got from the auth page and you should now be able to login. If you are getting something like "You are not authorized to connect to this server" or "Invalid product key" it might be due to you're having a loopback adapter enabled on your system or that you may have old HB IPs in the Windows Hosts file. The Windows Hosts file can be located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts Open the hosts file with your favorite text editor and see if there's something in there that looks like xxx.xxx.xxx.xx buddyauth.com - just delete all those lines and keep the hosts file empty (unless you're using it for something else). If you're still not able to connect make sure that you do not have two CM patcher's running or one "original HB" running in the background not doing anything. Welcome everyone! This thread serves the purpose of allowing everybody to try our full re-write of the rendering disabler for WoW and D3, this will have limits for free users in the future, but for now we need to get this tested. Look at the bottom for changelog. So what is a rendering Disabler? A rendering disabler will lock your WoW window so no ground mesh, texture or anything else is rendered. This means the client will use far less CPU then a window rendering the in-game world. When the client is not rendering, you cannot see anything in your game other then your minimap, so check the minimap to see if your character is still moving properly!. As probably most of you know, the Honorbuddy for 3.3.5a is a bit strange. It often bugs out and acts wierdly after a while. So, I decided to create a program which restarts both wow and HB for you. Note: This is an early version. Please post below if you experience some kind of a bug and I'll try to fix it. Suggestions are also welcome! The program is called BotOrFeed and it is free. BotOrFeed currently only supports HB3.3.5! What it does, It first opens up a window like the image above and lets you enter your details. Starts wow. Logs you in, and gets your character ingame. Once ingame, Honorbuddy is started. Then it logs you in on HB and press start. Sets size and position of wow and hb. After X time, closes wow and hb. After X time, starts wow and hb again. In the config file that is included, you can enter your details. It is very customizable. Changelog, v1.1 You can now set size and position of both Wow and Hb. You can now set a time to wait before starting wow and hb again. Example: Be logged in and botting on wow for X time then close wow and hb. Start again after X time. Added a timer so that you can see when wow and hb will be restarted. (You can disable/enable this in the config file) Increased time between actions like entering account data and clicking buttons in HB for slower systems. Planned features, Choose to either only relog or restart wow. Display status from HB. Read wow memory. Add some functions that Honorbuddy is missing. Add a GUI. Hey guys, I'm from germany, botted just yesterday. Today, there was no WoW-Patch or whatever, but HB won't login. It sais : Honorbuddy v2.5.15092.821 started. Honorbuddy was unable to check for an update. Honorbuddy will not be able to update automatically. Logging in... Now I waited at least 20 minutes, restarted the computer, made a new folder for hb & new CDpatch, closed anything open in taskmanager with WoW, openeded 32bit version in window-mode & so on.. Can someone help me maybe? Thx!

Sitting with two PC beside each other and on my left one it works perfect with 812, no issues what so ever. Installed HB on new PC - 8.12 - says "authentication failed - unable to connect to buddy servers" 8.18 - CD not updated but it connects.

Hey guys, started with HB und this genious tool here 3 days ago. First day Everything works fine, got an alt from 94-100 easily, god I love THIS. But then I took another Alt and want to level him from 90-100. Now I got problems, my HB is closing itself. A friend of mine helped me with settings and plugins and gave me the latest version of [Kicks Leveling profiles]. His setup works perfect (he has Win7 if matters). Excuse me for bad english. Program: HB Version: Honorbuddy v2.5.14801.812 Issue: Honorbuddy is closing itself, without any Error or something like that. Its like, I would X-klick HB, after a while wow went offline (standard idle). First of all im using old 3.3.5a version od WoW on a private server so maybe this itself is a problem. Everytime i got message : "We couldn't find a free WoW process to attach. Please make certain your toon is standing in game world and you are running latest version of Honorbuddy."

honnor buddy when i start hb it load up the program then shuts it off. i tried to uninstall and reinstall and nothing works and advice ??

Program: HB Version: latest (Dec 6) Issue: Portal Premium Rotation, won't work in arcane mode Log: Will attach when I get home. Additional Comments: Has anyone else been running fine with arcane on Portal Premium (Millz)? I am completely fine with this rotation in Frost spec, but it is often idle on arcane with the very rare spell cast. I'm not sure about fire. Or can anyone else recommend a PvE Arcane Mage Rotation? Would really appreciate it =)

hello dear codedeception forum! i came back to wow few days ago and i was thinking about botting. since its been a while... im wondering if i still need to download the mesh folder to run HB. (i live in germany.) i couldn't find any topic about that - i'm sorry if i missed a thread where it is explained! i can remember a thread, that was a full guide for HB + CD. that's why i remember the mesh-thing but i can't find anything about it. are the mesh still required with all the changes to CD and HB? have a nice day

I am making a ticket to Blizzard about some D3 tech support and in the MSInfo32 file it shows a bunch of stuff related to honorbuddy...how can I make it so that doesn't show?
