WoW and D3 Rendering Disabler 2.0 ALPHA - Reduce CPU and memory usage of WoW and D3 by 70%

Thanks for the effort, that's a great idea!

However it doesn't pay off for me that much, yet . Having rendering enabled,  the CPU usage of my WoW client is at 8-9%.

Disabling it, brings it down to 5%, however the usage of your programm is at 3%, so I end up at 8% overall again..

Of course that's not taking into consideration the GPU usage and I'm only running one client at a time.

It should keep my laptop from overheating though, so thanks a lot! :)

It wont make a lot of difference unless you cap fps. It still has to render frames, even though theres nothing "in" the frames. Enabled Vsync, or cap ingame frames to 30 or 60, and you will see better performance.

I dont know how the program can be using 3% cpu for you, its using 0.1-0-5 for me, its not actively doing anything once it has disabled rendering.

Even if it uses 3% of your CPU, with multiple WoWs it comes as a nice output mate, 3-4% less usage for each wow isn't bad.

With fps capping WoW to 8 fps and disabling the rendering with this tool my WoW is down to 1% cpu usage. It's really great!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it can cause issues for HB if you're capping the FPS as low as 8. Not sure though.

So what is a rendering Disabler? A rendering disabler will lock your WoW window so no ground mesh, texture or anything else is rendered.

You're not supposed to see anything.

Yes, minimap rendering bugged in the last version. We are working to resolve this.
