The Elder Scrolls Online?

For those of you who havn't seen the TESO gameplay reveal, here it is.

Otherwise, what do you guys think about it? I personally have high hopes for the game as I am a die hard fan of the Elder Scrolls series... but I can't help but have that gut-wrenching feeling that it's just going to be a watered-down version of Oblivion with a clunky multiplayer aspect.

I know right haha its pretty good looking. But I'm more interested in the combat. If it's actually like the combat in the elder scrolls game, that'd be epic. I hope it's not like a wow-clone combat system.. the ol' "press 1 to swing your sword this way!" "press 3 to glow red and jump a little while you do an overhead smash!"

It would be really interesting to see how they would incorporate that type of fighting in an online game. Would probably be full of exploits and bugs, (can't think of any, but I'm sure there would be some).

zenimax always flopped, only because bethesda gave their name for this, does not mean it will help.

I'm not getting it on release. Will wait a few weeks (months?) to see how it turns out, in the mean time I'll be busy playing GTA 5 and WoW anyway.

I've always thought of this game as a Guild Wars 2 clone. At least the combat anyways.

Personally, I'm not looking forward to elderscrolls as an mmo. I think they blew it with skyrim (it was okay but not great) oblivion was probably my favorite and morrowind/daggerfall was great. The Elderscrolls is just not mmo material and I've been saying this since it was "rumored" that they were working on developing one. I think it's a big mistake on zenimax/bethesda's part. I'm personally hoping that they drop skyrim (unlikely without an expansion pack at least) and start working on something else. Another cyrodil game would be nice however unlikely.

as an elder scrolls fan (enjoyed every one of the series) i am really looking forward to this one, even if the combat system's going to be abit weird, its primarily a PVE game rather then PVP in my opinion, exploring dungeons together, doing quests etc, which is what i loved doing in the previous games, that will not change much except that u now have ur teammate shooting u in ur back, other then that the only thing that changes is that your now able to do it all with friends, if you have any that is... (not judging you )

^this. The entire zone of Cyrodiil is based on PvP. The game revolves around the three factions warring over control for the White-Gold Tower and the Imperial City. Ill put the "Alliances Trailer" in the original post.

I want to play in Elsweyr (or whatever it's called). But most of all, I'd like a full scale, massive-ass map with every continent in it, with full HD and shit like that, maybe a few years down the line.
