Pretty sure this project is quite 'dead' for now. Doubt there are any decent developers working here anymore, atleast not like 1-2 years ago. 

If I'm proven wrong then good for me, will jump at the opportunity to use Demonbuddy again

Hey guys, sad to see this project in the shitter like this.

About 2 months ago I was losing faith in this thing and bought legit Honorbuddy keys. Lately life has been getting complicated for me, so I probably won't have time to bot again.

So getting straight to the point, I'm selling my Honorbuddy keys. I thought some people in this thread might be interested.

The keys I have are:

-2x 1-session Honorbuddy key.

-1x 3-session Honorbuddy key.

I guess Bossland's bots being completely compromised takes precedence over heckling us broke people for donations.

first of all, you dont have to be here, you know? you can leave at any time you please..

secondly, anything offered here is free, we dont ask for your money in order to use anything offered by us, you can use it all for free,

"heckling us broke people for donations." , you being broke is due to your poor life choices, but as stated in my first sentence, you dont have to be here, similarly to that, you dont have to give us anything.. feel free to go to any of the alternatives to us. im sure you'll be able to find plenty since you're smart enough to download your movies/shows yourself aswell.

Suspense owns and manages the plex servers, and is no longer a part of the CD team, as such, Elysium (the plex server) has nothing to do with CD anymore, and yes, he is just downloading the movies/shows, but he then makes it available to be streamed anywhere at any time with rarely any downtime from a server that he pays for, in order to cover costs of this server, he decided to move to a subscription based service,

i'd say the convenience and time it saves me finding/downloading these shows myself are easily worth the small amount it costs for access to it.. so once again, this comes down to your poor financial choices.. which you cant blame on us since well.. everythings free here..

Why leave this less on topic rant while deleting the previous one? Why are you censoring thoughts and opinions of your users just because you don't agree with them? I'm not calling for any actions, I'm only stating my opinions. Do you find them that dangerous that you have to censor your own user base?

I check back every few weeks to see zero progress, zero updates, zero information and zero community activity. I wouldn't really consider myself "here" in so far as I'm watching to see how much drama is created when this entire thing blows up.

You don't offer anything here. There is nothing here that is unique or of value. This place has no purpose or traffic. Just a quick url lookup shows this site has far lower traffic than it did a year ago and is losing even more after the domain change.

The Plex server is still in the CD Discord. While it isn't a directly related service anymore, it's clearly still part of the CD ecosystem. If you think typing a movie name into a search bar is hard or time consuming I'm not sure what more we can say here. Most of the movies on the CD Plex server were just torrents, probably downloaded by Russians when the US was cracking down on torrents. But the US hasn't passed any laws to stop streaming of movies, which is why torrents are dead and streaming websites are all over.

Looks like no. Just mumbling. If you got scammed by a Plex service that is related to CD - create a new thread with evidence and the admins could sort that out for you, otherwise your post and several others above you are not adding any substance to this thread. I am surprised Moderators are allowing those posts in this thread (Or they deleted the most useless posts already).

You pay for something you get something, it certainly isn't a direct scam. However considering they pulled the rug from the old donation system with no word or announcement that Emby would be gone and that the CD media center would be discontinued as part of the donation perks, or that it would be reassembled as a pay per month service with little more to offer than any number of free streaming websites I don't have much else to go on. Surely I couldn't be the only person who donated again when they ripped Emby out from under us without so much as a sticky thread or mention of it? That's borderline scam like, scummy no matter how you see it.

They delete the posts related to the auth. It's been what seven months now? You guys waited over a month to make this thread, called for donations, and we haven't heard anything since. What do you want me to do pretend I'm not an objective observer?

Also do you guys really need to DDOS me? If pointing out issues with how things are going here is "toxic" in your view, what do you consider DDOSing someone who has been a lurker and donator for years?

Wait, so I make the statement there was no announcement or sticky regarding the removal of Emby/Plex from the VIP benefits and you site an edited post from 2013?

You think that something as big as that warranted so little notice? You'd have to actively hunt for something without actually knowing that something happened to begin with. I can't even tell when it was edited to reflect the changes. It just is. 

 

Yes I'm 100% serious. Starting last night my router has been DDOSed after making a post here defaming the runners of this website. I don't play any open IP games like minecraft or host any servers. I'm not in any VOIP services and the only game I've played recently is ESO. Websites I've viewed for the past year are limited to a small forum community, reddit and news sites. 

It's just an incredible coincidence that I made a post here criticizing this entire thing and then hours later I'm under a sustained DDOS attack that continues to this moment? I'm just making huge logical leaps here aren't I?
