What do you need / want from here

Hi together,

since we all know the situation on here is quite ... dead.

So i thought many times what could we do to relive the golden time where the forum was active.

Please write in this thread what you want to see here, why you come here and what could we do to make the forum better / alive again.

Considering Honorbuddy is out of the picture, which was the "main" focus on these forums, remove the official aspect of it, old threads/sections.

Instead, make room for new discussions on active bots today.

With a friend we are working on new bot for 3.3.5.
Using HB WoD source code.
It's not even Alpha yet.

I just would like the forum to be more active and people to contribute.

I've been comming here since before it was called Codedeception, but CodeMplotion I think it was.
-Personally I was, and still am, looking for information I can use to educate myself, and communities to spare with, have fun with, hang out with and create things with.

-At first I didn't share things here, I just liked the people. Everyone, from members to mods was very nice, relaxed people, and we hung out everyday in the shoutbox.
-Kind people was what made me want to share things, big or small, the friendliness made me want to contribute to the site. So I did, with what I had at the time.
-it also caused me to take extensive education at my school, within the fields of human behavior, customer service, communication, retail, promotion, publicity and business strategies. To make myself as usefull as possible, not only here but everywhere, since there was way better coders and engineers around than i'd ever be.

Currently I am learning LUA code, to build "legal" addons, since I've got some leftover sparetime during Corona.
-Kind of ironic, not gonna lie  

But I imagine most other people, are looking for a cheat, guide or bot(maybe share their own content) when they'd come to this place.

I would agree with you but when likon69 made their posts about HB. So many became active.

I am not a very active member here, but i usually check on this forum from time to time. I enjoyed it quite a lot, with all the addons for bots and trying out new things. But like you said, the situation is quite dead, and i still check on this forum, just incase the situation changes  
Now that ive started playing retail wow, im looking into new bots, but it feels like all the current bots are scams, and im not sure if its worth buying. I usually check here wether there are any bots that has been cracked for retail, or bots that are being developed here.

The thing about this website was, u guys had specific visitors. Those were young people who were (kind of) busy getting somekind of degree or anything. Those people used a cracked product (HB/DB) to grind most of the lost time they've put into real life. The service that this website provided was intense good. U guys managed to crack not only the main product. U guys managed to crack their whole authentication server. With that crack, u guys provided us high quality content. High quality content is very attractive & addictive. The moment that all that stopped, all the fun kinda ended. I think bcs of the fact that HB got sued, alot of players drawed the line for WoW. That was also the time that this site started going down hill. Lots of ppl hung around here, hoping that there was going to be a good update on this situation. Years have passed & so did alot of ppl moved on I guess. 

I come to this website very frequently, I see this website as a WoWtools website. I visit the private server section quite alot. Warmane seems to be very popular. If only there was a product for WoTLK that was paid & u guys could crack it. xd

Anyways, this site had their good times, the site might be dead, but I think the moderators are still rocking this site with handy releases now & then. U guys can get popular again by cracking botting programs or script programs for LoL, OW, WoW, DoTA, ... any kind of game

Nulled had their population bcs of L# crack. They transformed their forum into a cryptocurrency scholarship. They maintained their population with changing subjects. They changed, bcs of the heat of the topic. (They worked around the hype)

I agree with @jelluuhh, this was one of my favorite forums to come and look for wow bots, but you guys focused only on official servers and left behind private servers.
When the death of big bots like honnorbuddy came to official wow, so did the death of the forum. And because you had no support from the private servers, so people left which was what attracted most people.

As @jelluuhh says, the most populated servers are Lich King servers (Wamane), I for example am an active player of that server, many characters level 80 and years of didecasion.

If you can offer security of some kind of undetectable hack be sure that many people will come back here. Warmane is one of the most robust servers in terms of security and scripting, that's why it has thousands of users daily. But I for example I would not risk to try those that are already shared in this forum, which claim to work for Lich King and lose all the time I invested in my account, as daily banned many people on this server and announced by chat for everyone to know, in the forums of the paid bots themselves create topics related specifically for that server.

So if you offer a product that is not detectable on that server when other programs are detectable then you will have something unique. Users will come from all over the world, not just those who play there. If you beat the boss, the underlings will follow.

 

That's what @likon69 is trying to do right now with the MoP bot, even though MoP doesn't have as much population as Lich King, it has thousands of users too. 

He is targeting the best MoP server out there right now in terms of scripts (security not so much, but it's pretty good), the server is TauriWoW, if they can beat that one most MoP servers will fall too. In case you haven't noticed, but @likon69's topics are the most active right now, because he offers content that is very hard to get or not available elsewhere.

It's simple, quality content = users.
