CDAuth current and future situation

Dear members,

We have had that maintenance message on the site header for quite long now, so it is time to give you some more explainations about the current and future status of CDAuth.

With the latest updates, whole authentication system as well as mesh system has been totally changed. This means we are forced to build a whole new CDAuth system.

The workload derived from this situation is really big, and it is the reason why it is taking some time while we can write a new system. However we are already and currently in search of talented developers to help us with coding this new tool so that we can get it done as fast as possible. This also means that we will probably be in need to invest a substantial amount of resources and funds in order to get the job properly and quickly done, so we will eternally thank

Shit like this is discouraging. They don't have to do anything for you. I hope CD Stuff will consider banning your HWID from CDAuth for good.

I'd like to know if there's any bonding option to help support codedeception as opposed to flat out donating.

i would honestly like if you guys make it be a subscription fee instead of just donating system,
instead of 10$
just make it be 5$ subfee per month its better to have everyone paying the 5 instead of just a couple donating 10
also because i came up with this amazing idea i would like to have 1 year subscription already paid for, than k you very much

I would donate the yearly fee at bossland if i were guaranteed a working bot within a month and vip access for life. It makes sense. In a time of need open up the forbidden zone to those who help. 

Think about it like this. You got a next door neighbor you hate. Always giving you dirty looks and pissing on your flowers in the morning. Tornado rolls in.. turns your garage into a pile of scrap. You need cleanup help. Neighbor stops by to rub it in that his house is still standing and pristine.. but offers help. when you take his kindness, do you allow him in your house for a glass of milk and cookies? or do you have him wait outside and promise to drop off the leftover cookies later, and point him toward the nearest cow for milk?

Take care of those who are willing to help, and pay no attention to the nay-sayers. All humans want something tangible to link to their money. When I go to Wal-Mart looking for the latest video game, i want to leave with it when i pay for it. If they asked me for a donation and they will get it eventually, I better see some boobies or have a damned good discount card on my way..

Basically.. Long story short.. Cd should show their boobies

There is no timeline here so we'll see if there are actually any results. Fact is, in all of 2016 things have gotten real weird in CD, with the mysterious (chinese) new ownership and an almost complete halt in updating the CDStore for WoW. Then the domain starts pointing to PokeFarmer lol. btw bosslands bought a bunch of other domains (necrobot, mygobot etc) at the exact same time to also redirect to pokefarmer which they just released, so I'm gonna assume the exact same thing happened here - CD owners sold the domain control, bosslands sure didn't hack it. So I guess we'll see if the dot.net version does any better? no offense it's tough to have any faith in donations going to the right cause when the previous website literally went to bosslands with no warning.

this is funny. Literally stealing someone elses stuff/work and then reselling it. I can understand if someone wants to make it free like CDpatcher was in the past and people could donate to support the forum...but directly donating to do this is ridiculous. Sure the payment model for honorbuddy is pretty awful but that doesnt justify this lmao

what a joke. Honestly the way it should go back to being is just locally cracked like it was rather than using the auth servers of CD. this entire project just descended into a money grab.

+ on making a sub and stable service, for some of us waiting means wasting wow subscriptions and money we could earn by selling gold so it would be fair to pay some small amount even per wow account we use, 1$ per wow account per month would be fine.

p.s. I don't really care about how legal it is, just make some domain in offshore and make money, who really cares

Its still a donation, CD never made a profit, you know how much it costs to keep CD online? CD will Always be free

This happened to CD like 3 times already.
