CDPatcher creates a new random exe file and doesn't open

I've got Nod32 installed and it's both turned off and there's an exception for CDP in it. It's not dinging as a virus or anything, it just doesn't load or do more than make a new random .exe file in the same folder.

This is the result of nod32 not actually being disabled, you could try in a vm or uninstalling nod32
