Gold guide for patch 5.2 Fast and easy way to make a huge profit!

Here are some profession guides that should be helpful with what you should buy, sell, stack up and craft before patch 5.2 Hits!

This guide is based on all the new players a new patch brings and all the new gear players get from a new patch that has new raids and a new pvp season!

Yellow: topic.
Dark green: raw facts.
Light green: informational.
Red: Important read this!



General changes for all professions!
All 450 ilvl craft able pvp gear will be upgraded. Note that the gear that already have been created will not be upgraded it's just the recipe's in your profession tab that will be updated. Player's might not know of this immediately but the market for these items will go to a none profitable market fast.

Keep these items and what ever you do, don't craft new pvp gear until patch 5.2 has hit!!!

Tailoring:
Leg enchant's for all the new pve/pvp gear that will become available!
Windwool cloth and bolt's of windwool cloths (To craft the new pvp gear that will become available!).
Dont forget your daily CD!


Leatherworking:
Leg armor's for all the new pve/pvp gear that will become available!
Mining and herb bags (Don't go crazy you might be able to sell 5-20 of each).
Magnificent hides.
Exotic leather and Prismatic scale (To craft the new pvp gear that will become available!).


Enchanting:
All max level enchanting mats.
Craft all popular enchant's.
Dont forget your daily CD!


Engineering:
Ghost iron bars.
Trillium bars.
Living steel.
Those mats are for creating:
mounts and pets for players returning from a break in need of the latest mounst/pets!
cogwheels sockets for new players.
scope enchants for hunter weapon enchants.
guns/bows for newly dinged players.


Blacksmithing:
Living steel belt buckles for all the new pve/pvp gear that will become available.
Living steel.
Ghost iron bars (To craft the new pvp gear that will become available!).


Jewelcrafting:
All max level popular gems/metas(If you have many of the recipes keep the uncut once and craft the gems you need).
Uncut max level gems/primal diamonds.
Serpent's eye.
ghost iron ore for prospecting.
Don't forget your daily CD! New recipes are always nice.


Alchemy:
Max level flasks (preferably elixir specc if you don't have it ask a guildie or ask someone in trade to do it for a fair price)
Max level potions(preferably potion specc if you don't have it ask a guildie or ask someone in trade to do it for a fair price).
Trillium bars (transmute. if prices are reasonable).
Wild jade, vermilion onyx, imperial amethyst, primordial ruby, rivers heart, sun's radiant and primal diamonds (transmute. if prices are reasonable).
Golden lotus (Loads!!! I can not stress this enough you need them to create flasks!).
Don't forget your daily CD! Save your living steel to after patch 5.2 release.


Inscription:
Max level herbs (cheapest kind on the market for milling).
Epic shoulder enchants (keep 20-100 of each kind).
Soulbound shoulder enchants(vendor these patch 5.2 will most probably bring the prices on them down from the current 18,75 g each).
Inks.
Glyph's.
Don't forget your daily CD! New players and alt's are still in need of these!


Mining:
Ghost iron ore/bars (Go crazy!!!).
Trillium ore/bars.
Kyparite.
Sell these after patch 5.2 hits.


Herbalism:
Max level herbs.
Golden lotus.
Sell these after patch 5.2 hits (you can't get to much).



Skinning:
Magnificent hides.
All max level leather especially exotic leather (Go crazy!!!)
Sell these after patch 5.2 hits.



​Note this will not guarantee you a profit this is what i think will make a profit based on previous patch releases and current patch notes. The patch notes can change and if to many players are doing the same thing it might be worth holding on to the material until competitors are running out of them.

I can also take some screenshots of what i have stockpiled if requested. This guide breaks none of blizzards terms of use unless you bot the ores/herbs and is there for 100% safe and a 99% chance of making a profit. Prices will rice once patch 5.2 hits!



I used the same guide in general when 4.3 hit with 2 weeks to stock up mats and a budget of only 120k i manage to flip that and go over 400k profit landing me over 520k gold in total!

I've been selling heaps of ghost iron already on one of my servers, seems others are stacking up which has driven the price up a bit. Still saving plenty though Thanks for the good tips

Currently ghost iron ore goes from about 65-80g/stack on my server via AH. I sell unlimited amounts to a guy for 60g/stack by cod, however just before 5.2 I'll be stocking up heavily for ghost iron ore to sell on the AH. It's gonna be great to see them all sell for really high prices!

Low pop Horde on medium pop realm. Don't really want to be specific to avoid competition!

To my understanding, Stormscale is about 85% horde, so there are loads of suppliers which pushes prices down. However my realm is only 30% horde, so therefore prices are a lot higher. It's like that on any realm with low population of your faction. Downside is there are literally NO cool TCG mounts on the AH or anything like that.

I would advise farming your own with honorbuddy, creating a level 1 bank alt with its own guildbank. That way you can store all of your own ore in there!

Well i was hoping to get the server in a PM. All the servers i have checked so far ghost iron ore have been between 18-30 gold which means that an auction house with a price more then twice as high might not have the same balance over all the items and in order for me to make the guide useful for as many players as possible i need to see some high an low priced auction house servers.

If AH is overwhelmed with Ghost Iron Ore you can always keep em for a few days or convert em into bars.

Many miner's don't check the auction house if bar's are worth making or not and if someone is using an AH bot they usually don't have bars and the competition is going to be a lot less.
