How to use CDpatcher temporarily

We have had no time yet to compile a new version of cdpatcher.

temporarily fix you can do your self is going to

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Edit hosts file

put in these 2 lines

51.255.91.123 vip.codedeception.com
51.255.91.123 pub.codedeception.com

Raname your hosts file to hosts.ics

but i cannot connect on the server. if i change my key, the connection's failed immediatly.

The thing is , Bossland integrated some anti-crack protection. 

In my case it clears the hosts file after several fail logins and opens the codedeception.com site (pokefarmer bot) .

Tho, im not sure, it could also be from CDPatcher redirecting to the old homepage

Shouldn't the host file be codedeception.net ?  Since no longer .com? I might be wrong.

I believe the same is happening to me as well. I've had to re-enter the details into the hosts file (I thought I must have been crazy and not done it) twice now. The Pokebot site keeps opening as well.

I think the point is that the current CDPatcher is still looking at the old domains. By modifying the hosts file we are tricking the computer into routing to the correct server.

p.s: I did the hosts and after the flushdns stuff. I use win 7.

I used the command "ping pub.codedeceoption.com" on cmd and got no ping in return.

p.s.s: Now I got the ping on pub.codedeception.com but no log in on HB. I'll wait the new release... thx u all

Yeah I got it to ping vip/pub to the IP located in OP, it isnt working at the moment.

I am so hyped for CD to work again.
I was in such a pain I bought NoobBot... and boii... is this a pile of shiat compared to HB....

I will donate ASAP they fixed CD again.
It is the only way to play with HB in Germany for me without shitty proxy fckarounds.

like the other lines in there? Also when I try to save how do I stop getting access denied? 

On windows 10, 64-bit. Access is denied trying to edit with other programs as well because of the file's location I guess. Anyways to go around this?

Open notepad as Administrator, browse to the path, select "All Files" instead of "Text Files" and then open the hosts file.
