Plex Subtitles

Anybody know how to turn subs completely off in the Plex web app ?

 

I can do it per episode as each episode plays.. & it restarts the stream.. kind of annoying.. >.<

 

I wouldn't think it matters much buuut usin' Chrome..

A sub shouldnt be enabled on the web app unless you specifically enable it. Maybe you got something in chrome that saves your pick?

not that i'm aware of.. today is actually the first time I've ever used the web app..

 

typically I use Android.. my Vizio smart tv or the full on Windows Store app..

 

Dansk seems to be enabled on every episode by default.. I'll try another show & see if that's still the case..

 

I don't ever sub anything since I'm stuck up & only watch shows with English audio anyway..

 

My only plugins in Chrome are uBlock Origin.. Gyazo.. Turn off the Lights & Video Downloader Professional..

 

The options in "Burn Subtitles" aren't helpful either >.< there's Automatic.. Only Image Format & Always

 

In Sub Size there's Tiny to Huge.. 5 options total but none that say none >.< or hide

I signed out & back in.. no change..

 

I admittedly haven't tried a different show yet.. ha.. currently watching New Girl

 

Doesn't reeeaaally matter but ay.. figured I'd wonder

So I just started season 2 & that's good no subs by default.. just season 1

I'm noticing a few more with some more intrusive subs enabled..

 

It's not really that big a deal to disable myself but if you're interested I'll point out every episode of anything I notice them on ;-)

 

I suppose I could appreciate the idea most people may like subs enabled too.. /shrug

sooo I decided to try watchin' this particular show on my Vizio TV app & if I try to change from the default Dansk subs the stream doesn't restart at all >.<
