Got 72H ban today... was grinding not even bg.. and it's the final warning.. Am I damnd forever not to run HB anymore or there is some hope ?

If it's an account that you care about you shouldn't be botting it in the first place

If this had happened to me, I would have continued to bot, but more carefully and not to be so obvious about it.

From my experience, most bans comes from bgbuddy, farming and archaeology bot (when other ppl reports you). Don't worry about final worrning, they send that to everyone. Lately few friends of mine got bans for 72h. One was farming skyshards, other one was farming mote of harmony and that is more risky then GB2 cuz there are a lot of other player near you and they can recognize that you are boting.

Also have frined who got ban few days before MoP (permanent ban), but after we made ticket he was unbanned and he is boting again since then.

I have my system of boting and i never been banned. On one acc i use GB2 for herbs + ores (now just herbs, cuz ore is cheap) and puting that in guild bank. Then i miling/prospect that with my main acc with professionbuddy. (but during that process i am near computer, cuz he is doing that in sw).

Also when don't have something to do in wow i put both acc to gind herbs but in different territories and after few days i swap them.

And if u are seeling gold on big amounts, if u ask me best way is to collect all gold in guild bank (not at once, like 500k in one day) and then just give GM to your buyer and leave guild.

In short that is how i use hb and so far i didn't have any problems. And i am using him for a long, long time.

Well it's my main and only account... using HB mostly grinding mobs to lvl up my alt, never used questing or GB2 etc etc... Now I'm screwd.. If only I used GB2 herbs/ores and maked some gold I wouldn't feel ownd... now I'm blacklisted and watched so I can't bot anymore... nor making a secend account cuz I can't (money related thing)..

Very sad that I didn't knew about HB long ago... damn it

I use a little of everything to be honest with you. From fishing to ore 'ing all night. Hell at times, all day if my dailies are finished with.

Hi,

first thing that i want to ask you are you on EU or US servers?

US servers have higher security level than EU servers and its higher chance to get banned there.

Second.. you said that you grind mobs to level and alt, and that is extremely bad idea since high number of mob kills per character will likely attract some attention from staff, second, grinding profiles usually concentrate on one zone/pattern, so if i happen to be in zone and see that you are taking same movement patter i will most likely think that its a bot, this increases when, for some nonrelated reason i happen to fly over or be in same zone again and see your character doing exact same thing that was doing "x" hours before.

I also got hitted by 72 lockout hammer, but, tbh, i really pushed for it, i grinded on two characters Golden Lotus reputation from Friendly to Exalted and leveled shaman from lvl 1-87 in 4days, sometimes botting 24hours per day for 6-8 days. So, its was really stupid of me and i expected that action.

Now the thing is that a lot, and i mean A LOT! of people who were using HB past 10-15 day got shame hammer (72hours lockout) but, they were using it for raiding, or minor grinding/farming.

Now, my guess is that finally it has come to an end time of public profiles and people should switch to private ones.

On top of that, some of them used completely different bot, PQR, which is basically ONLY combat routine (without movement or any other extra option, just basic class combat rotations) but those routines created extra chat channel in which routine "communicated" so, i also presume that blizz simply scanned logs for extra channels or for lines like "Switched to AOE combat" "Switched to single combat" "Queued Fists of Fury" etc...

But, despite all of that, i dont plan to stop botting, ill just be more carefully and dont do those extreme sessions without supervising bot at all.

All that being said, i really enjoy that ban since im taking a time off of the game, i have a little time to think about my addiction to WoW, in which, im boting most of the time, so, im addicted to game that i hardly play manually. I have some time to get my RL straight, and, tbh, i like it because i finally figured out how much exactly i dont need WoW, but, on other hand, how much im addicted to that game.

I think it's stupid from Blizz, I mean i can grind mobs manually and in the same spot and at the same rate kill/hour .. so following their logic they wil still ban me but in fact I'm not botting... it's really stupid from them.. I mean let's suppose I like grinding mobs or gathering herbs/ores very fast... still I will be banned ?? WTF !!

Anyway.. I want to continue botting I didn't profit AT ALL, but as I said I can't it's my MAIN & ONLY account...

Yup, its mine main and only account too, but i dont plan stopping to bot, only reason i that game consumes far to much time.

Also, its not just fact that you grinded mobs, its the fact that you were probably noticed by some people for your unusual movement, or movement in same pattern and reported by few people.

Since WoW is on sale atm, i think that we just ended up hammered since our accounts were marked as bots. Its usual Blizz tactics to, when some of their game is on sale, they do larger scale hammer wave (lockouts or perma bans).

As i said, i found this unusual since several of my friends ended up hammered too, but they were using manual bot, just for rotation, so its not logical that we ended up banned just because we botted.

I must add that i havent received final warning, which i should, so that just adds to the sum. i would dispute my hammer instantly, but since i was botting 24 hours per day for 6-8 days sessions i think that they have far to much evidences on me and i could make just things worse. If i botted in my usual sessions, (5-6hours nightly, and took a break for 10-12 hours, after which i would log manually for dailies, following by another break before starting night session) i would dispute it instantly.

And yea, i havent earned much gold too, its not that i dont know how to, im just far to lazy, im more for farming reps/mounts/rares/transmog sets.

OFF topic, I found another bot than HB, it's Erus from MMO Lazy, they say it has anti ban protection or whatever and it can detect if a GM teleport you so it will logoff automatically and other protections

As I'm new to botting anyone knows witch is better HB or Erus and if Erus is better will I be able to use it even if I'm "watched & blacklisted" by Blizzard ??

Grinding seems far more dangerous than even BG botting... at least from my experiences.

Stop grinding its silly, if you want to level use questing only.

Look up kicks profiles on the HB forums, they work but need a hand sometimes.

I've leveled over 15+ toons with them and never, ever a warning/ban etc.

Don't use a different bot, HB is by far the best.

This is going off US which was much stricter.

I had 1 account returned from a perma ban, I started him up straight away and botted for another month before I was then perma banned again BUT I think the bot got stuck and was reported.

I had another account 72 hour banned and he never got banned again (2 months then I sold the account off)

So if you can risk losing the account start up again, if you can't I wouldn't bot again on it.

looks nice but also uses click to move like HB.

HB has probably more functionalities
