Any idea how to get rid of it and not to ruin whole app? Also what would be best way to get around server side authentication? I have tried sniffing packets but it uses https on auth web page so packets are not readable.

It is sending not so complicated  POST request to server, getting session cookie and checking for user (membership key), licence, patch..

id first of all , suggest you NoFuser / NoFuserEx and finally de4dot to get the code readable again.

and if you have problems to recompile after decompile, you can use the Reflexil extesion, he allow patch a .net executable without recompiling

Thats a good suggestion . But dnSpy got C# code editor with the latest beta version . Also usable without any recompiling.
