It works for me. I used it on the 3.3.5 Servers from Warmane aka MoltenWoW.

Which client are you using(could you provide me a link?) Or send me your wow.exe. Did you use the guide + links I posted?

I've tried to launch the bot and wow in compability modes for every windows version, still doesn't work. I'm downloading a new client atm, hoping it'll work. I'm on windows 10 btw, which windows do you use?

I use the Warmane 3.3.5 Client and the HB Version + Guide you linked on Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks for that.
I think the Bot wont work for you because Windows 10. The Version of the Bot is from 2010, some parts in the "old Bot" don't work with Windows 10.

1. My English is not the best so don't be angry.

2. Install XAMPP

2. Download the Mesh and Bot Files

3. Unzip the Files like this:
C:\...\3.3.5 Bot\Honorbuddy\                                  "Place the Files from HB in this folder"
\Honorbuddy\HonorbuddyMeshes\"Place the Mesh files in this folder"

4. Copy the Files from the "htdocs" folder in the XAMPP folder like (The htdocs are in the "HonorBuddy3.3.5a.rar".):
C:\Program Files (x86)\XAMPP\htdocs\checkmesh.php
                                                             \getmesh.php
                                                             \gettilemap.php
                                                             \statsRequest.php

5. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

6. Edit the hosts file with the notepad and add: 127.0.0.1 www.buddynav.de
                                                                          127.0.0.1 nav.buddyauthcn.com

7. Save the edited hosts file

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Now you can start "xampp_start.exe"

2. Launch your WoW 3.3.5 Client and log in to your charakter

3. Now start your Honorbuddy.exe for 3.3.5 and log in

4. Under the "General Settings" tab you can select an "Mesh Folder" navigate  to your "Mesh Folder" like:
"C:\...\3.3.5 Bot\Honorbuddy\HonorbuddyMeshes"

5. Now the bot should work

I appreciate your replies, thank you a lot for trying to help out smile.png. Your English is fine, don't worry.

The thing is that the Honorbuddy program works, it can even open up and I am able to log in. The thing is that as soon as Honorbuddy attaches to wow, I get an instant wow error and wow closes. (Sometimes the bot remains open, in other cases it closes.)

So to me it seems that the error lies in my wow executable.

Could you upload your wow.exe here?

Thanks so far for assistance!

Yes, I double checked and .NET 3.5 is installed.

What's your process of starting xampp?

Skype is off, Xampp is working, I reinstalled .net 3.5, made new Meshes folder, edited notepad, redownloaded Honorbuddy, disabled firewall, disabled antivirus. I have done everything twice.

Here is the error that Honorbuddy gives me:

I FIGURED IT OUT! My apache server wasn't running and I had to stop the services on port 80 AND 443. Disable all IIS services or type in CMD: net stop http -> Y (Make sure to run CMD as Admin). Hope this helps people!

I did some research for Windows 8 and Windows 10 users, and I believed it to be permissions based but after find a few threads...try THIS first: Set WoW to use DirectX 11. Add -d3d11 to your WoW shorcut. I have read this worked for some, but not others.

If that didn't work try the attached tool I found directly from the honorbuddy forum:

Please login or register to see this link.

(sorry in advance if there is a link policy).

Mastahg and Aevitas made this little utility that installs:

  • the correct .NET version,
  • the correct C++ runtime,
  • other needed Buddy product dependencies.

If you are having any problems, please download this tool:

Please login or register to see this link.

...and run this with Windows administrative privileges:

Right-click on the icon
→ "Run as administrator"

Hope this helps!!! I wish I had found this before I reformatted my Windows 8.1 to Win7 for this bot! Let me know your results!
