CDP won't update?

Question

I havent used CDP in a while so I downloaded a new copy from auth page>downloads, which is dated 9/3/15. When I run it it creates a new exe, and when I run that I get an update prompt, but when I hit "Update" nothing happens. If I cancel the update it runs, but as soon as I open Demonbuddy it closes CDP.

I thought it might be a Nod32 issue, but I've added exceptions, disabled Nod32, redownloaded CDP a few times, tried downloading the exe another user uploaded, and ran CDP as Administrator,  but it still does the same thing. I even tried using an older version of Demonbuddy (January 2015) but the same thing happens.

Am I missing something?

Most likely your nod32 that is interfering, when you accept the update cdpatcher would close and auto open again

Post a log of DB tho, please.

I uninstalled Nod32 and it works just fine now. Hopefully ESET takes care of this soon, but thank you for your help! :)
