Hey I posted this in another thread (VIP only) but I think it is better to post this here: You probably would have gotten to your donation goal if the timeframe/advertising of the drive was different. If I had any say in it whatsoever I'd want to show the goal status on cdpatcher with the date it was checked, then all the leechers can see it even if they never visited the website before. Keep it as a monthly goal and keep it visible (maybe even show it in HB log window if possible), move VIP to monthly too. Smaller goals are easier to reach as people only keep so much extra cash about for this sort of thing at a time. You could even show it as a moving date, so "Services are paid until DD.MMM.YY." have a donate link anywhere you can, including in cdpatcher. Hopefully you can tell from the drive, that even when only a small percentage of users actually knew what was going on (many seem to lack english skills), they still made over a month in a few days. If they were all aware and could see the date coming, the donations would probably be more constant and ramp up as the date moved closer etc.

Kinda sucks that people who already donated recently (the VIPs) have lost access, especially to everything. I understand you couldn't gate individual access behind the donation as that would make it a paid service, but this is pretty darn close in definition. I hope it wont affect you legally with bossland. Hopefully the community can come together, I'm a little broke today but generally I'd prefer something like a sub if only that were legally possible. Putting unpredictable downtime on it in addition to the blizzard/bossland ones is unfortunate. An automated VIP sub might be helpful too (I know VIP auth is dead, but things like emby i assume are gated behind this?), as if it is recurring charge many people will just let it tick over. Good luck everyone, if it takes too long I'll probably move to licensed keys on payday though and stay VIP here for teh luvs.

Hi, I've been enjoying the emby server for some time now, and it's great, but the last couple of days I haven't been able to play anything, the background comes up for the show along with the playback UI, but the video never comes up. Is this unique to me? Is this because of the server I'm on? Any advice? On further investigation, the video will play if set to direct, but not for other bitrates (my net is too slow for high bitrates), so I suspect it's a trans-coding issue.

If you still have this, I have a legit 3 session lifetime HB key?
