If they didn't care at all about the time & expense could they actually open cases against users just to make a point ?

I suppose technically you can litigate against anyone for anything.. let it all work itself out depending on how far both parties are willing to go.

We aren't purchasing or otherwise marketing stolen products either.. so I'm not sure what their chief complaint would be.

Then to think about filing suits from their country against users in many countries.

Would be amusing though to try to compel anyone to reveal user info to send them C&Ds or something..
